Python 3 and the standard library. No dependencies, no installer, no daemon.

Why it exists

Six different kinds of thing can start on a laptop, and each is visible from somewhere else:

• launchd keeps services up and restarts them on a timer.
• The scheduled tasks of Claude Code fire on their own and spend tokens, on a clock that lives inside the application.
• rada holds a queue of heavy jobs, with tickets and permissions.
• Live agent sessions, MCP servers, and the orphans left behind by sessions that closed.

Each of those has its own way of being listed, and none of them knows about the others. So the honest answer to “what is spending my tokens while I sleep” required six lookups and a good memory.

What it does not do

It does not stop anything by itself. It reports, and says what it would take to stop each thing. A tool that kills processes on its own initiative is a tool you stop running.
