porto

porto is the landing page for the suite of control-plane tools (vedetta, dogana, paratia, varo, rada, faro, boa, plancia, agent-switch, reflip, and paranco’s own instance of the same idea) that keep coding agents from colliding on one machine. It exists to give the suite one place that explains what “control plane, not another agent” means, and one script that installs the tools that are commands rather than making anyone chase down eight separate repositories by hand.

What it does not do

  • It has no build step and makes no external request. It is static HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with a vendored copy of GSAP for the page’s small SVG animations and a custom Canvas 2D spring system for the harbour graphic.
  • install.sh does not install everything in the suite. darsena is not published yet and is left out; banchina is a macOS app rather than a command and is not covered; agent-switch lives in its own repository; varo is not a command either and is installed by wiring it into ~/.claude, not by this script; reflip is a command, and the part of it that measures a rewrite wants torch and transformers, which pipx does not fetch for an extra, so it is installed from its own repository.
  • It changes nothing by default. install.sh prints what it would do and installs nothing until you pass --apply.
  • darsena installs itself from its own repository instead, because it edits ~/.claude/settings.json and ~/.claude.json directly and wants to show what it would write before writing it.

Install

darsena is installed separately, from its own repository:

Use

The page itself is the product: https://nerln.github.io/porto. Every number it shows was measured on the machine it describes rather than estimated.

porto on GitHub. The repository publishes no licence file, so nothing in it is licensed for reuse by default.
