Who I am

Eugenio Nerelli, owner of this site. To write to me use the Contact page: the address appears after one click.

What I collect

Nothing. The portfolio pages have no forms, accounts, cookies, analytics or advertising, and they load nothing from other sites. I have no access to the server logs.

Where the site lives

The pages are served by GitHub Pages. To serve them to you, GitHub receives your IP address and the technical details of the request, and handles them as an independent controller under its own privacy statement. GitHub is based in the United States and takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The old address nerln.pages.dev redirects here: Cloudflare serves it, and sees the IP address and the address requested.

In your browser

If you pick the light or dark theme, the site remembers it in localStorage (theme). In the documentation pages the browser also keeps the theme preference (starlight-theme, empty until you choose a theme) and the state of the sidebar (sl-sidebar-state, which goes away when you close the tab). These are preferences that never leave your device: they are not cookies, I do not read them and they do not identify you, so I do not ask for consent. You can delete them from the browser settings.

If you write to me

I use your message and your address to reply, on the ground of my legitimate interest in answering people who write to me (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I keep the conversation as long as it is needed and delete it if you ask. I do not pass it to anyone.

The projects and the apps have their own notice when they need one. The mimo chat is switched off: the page no longer sends anything.

Your rights

You can ask me for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of the data that concerns you (arts. 15 to 22 GDPR) by writing to me from the Contact page. You can complain to the authority of your country; mine is the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), because I live in Spain.
